Versace's Spring 18' Collection tribute to Gianni Versace, an Italian Fashion Designer and founder of the House, Versace. Donatella Versace, Creative Director & sister of Gianni Versace, created this collection of prints, silhouettes, and accessories taken from the archives circa 1991-1995 and gave them futuristic relevance. Gianni's Most iconic collections reinterpreted with new silhouettes and styles. Vogue, Warhol, My Friend Elton, Icons, Baroque, Animalia, Native Americans, Tesor de la Mer, Metal Mesh, and Butterflies, from each motif, remade as full capsule collections with the futuristic approach. Show's Finale was the revival of Gianni's Fall 94' Metal Mesh collection surprised with 90's Super Models; Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, and Helena Christensen, when George Michael's "Freedom! 90." boomed out loud.
This collection was the identification of the house Versace, and its Future itself. As Donatella said: "This is a chance for a new generation to see what Gianni was about." It was strong and beautiful to fall in love again with Gianni and Donatella's Versace world.
